Healthy Summer Holiday Travel Tips

As we enter the biggest “travel” month of the year, I understand the importance of staying healthy while on holiday.

No matter how much we want to “let our hair down” and “go all out” with food and drink there are a few small things we can do to “balance” a few key components of your well-deserved getaway x


Four things I do to limit damage and keep my body and mind moving in the right direction!

1. Pack Rescue Snacks!

  • Insulated Cooler Bag

  • Powdered Protein Shake

  • Peppermint (or your fav) Tea Bags

  • Nuts

  • Protein Bars

2. Move:

  • Stretch and move regularly during long flights

  • Pack exercise bands for workouts (activation and regular)

  • Incorporate exercise into your daily routine at your destination DAILY!

3. Rest & Recharge:

  • Schedule naps and get enough sleep

  • Listen to your body and rest when needed

  • Stick to your regular nighttime routine during time zone shifts

4. Choose The Right Wardrobe:

  • Pack clothes suitable for the weather and activities

  • Roll your clothes to save space and minimize wrinkles

  • Create a list of planned outfits to stay organised

  • Pack your trainers and sports bras!

Remember to stay flexible and embrace the unknown during your holiday.
