MORE ON QUICK FIXES V LONGTERM SUCCESS
I have been talking more of late with regards to quick fixes versus long-term success in women's weight loss journey in recent talks and inside the membership.
It isn't an uncommon scenario where women feel desperate and seek quick fixes to lose weight.
Especially around summer time.
As a fitness and health coach who takes a different approach to prioritise daily habits and the daily grind for long-term success - this makes me curious to find out more.
I have friends who take meal replacement shakes and also a dear friend who has been taking insulin injections for weight loss.
All reporting AMAZING weight loss - however, the injections have horrid side nauseous side effects
The meal replacement shakes well…….. as soon as you come off them you’ll need to be mega-disciplined not to put the weight back on.
I AM CURIOUS TO OPEN THIS TOPIC MORE
Because for an obese person to be able to lose weight quickly in a non-invasive or surgical way seems very attractive and tempting!
But again - daily habits with the RIGHT coach for YOU, is always the winner.

Have more conversations on the possible drawbacks of quick fixes: temporary results, unsustainable methods, and potential health risks.
Focus more on the importance of addressing daily habits: nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management.
Always the significance of consistency and perseverance in achieving long-term success.
Work on mindset shifts and self-compassion to sustain motivation and stay on track.
Relying on quick fixes for weight loss can pose several potential health risks, including:
Nutritional deficiencies:
Muscle loss:
Slowed metabolism:
Gallstone formation:
Electrolyte imbalances:
‌Psychological impact:
Conclusion?
It is important to prioritise a balanced and sustainable approach to weight loss that focuses on long-term lifestyle changes for overall health and well-being.
OF COURSE, I AM HERE TO HELP AND GUIDE AND SUPPORT
But always do it within a group of like-minded people - a community that will be there when the going gets tough!
