HEALTHY HABITS OCTOBER V QUICK FIX DILEMMA

I know I sound like a broken record always on about the quick fixes v healthy habits but it's the forever drama in the weightloss world isn't it?



HAVE YOU MANAGED TO MAKE THE SWITCH YET?


It's an ongoing tug of war, quick fixes are so tempting but yet so betraying!


and on the other hand…


Consistent healthy habits and discipline are tough yet sooooooo rewarding!


When you grab control of your health and fitness it's EMPOWERING!


THE OZEMPIC TREND: Injections / Pills


I wrote a newsletter last week on this and also shared it on social media opening the discussion. It's definitely a hot topic and gets lots of comments every time! Are you on ozempic or know of someone?


I remind I am not for or against it and appreciate there is a time and place for it.


A dear friend of mine has been on them and kindly shared her take on it:


‘Hi Nat. The injections worked really well for me, reduced the appetite so I was much less hungry. Made sure I ate healthy and did some general exercise and in about 5 months I lost 11kg . Quite often at the beginning of the dose there’s quite a bad nauseous problem also constipation with me and I could throw up very easily and did do several times.’


However, she went on to say….


'Once I stopped the injections the appetite unfortunately comes back and I started to put weight back on. I was happy using them but once you stop you need the will power to carry on the process. 'It works paired with healthy eating and exercise but once you stop taking it the effects are gone.’


So once you stop taking them, it's you v your WILLPOWER - yikes!


Willpower is very unreliable! It comes and goes! It's the habits over time, learning to implement a daily healthy habit that will add value to your day, and long term you will get there!


Habits over time = success!


BUT YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT!


THE BIGGEST STRUGGLE IS TO START AND TO STAY ON THE HABITS TRAIN - I get that! Our community gets that! All my members know just how persevering you must be - but it's the biggest joy in the world to feel light, lean, happy, and strong!
